Chance Theater Proudly Presents THE LITTLE PRINCE

Chance Theater, Anaheim's official resident theater company, is pleased to announce the first show in its third season of Theater for Young Audiences… The Little Prince. Written by Rick Cummins and John Scoullar, based on the book by Antoine de Saint-Exupery, and directed by Darryl B. Hovis, The Little Prince will preview from February 17 through February 25; regular performances will begin February 25 and continue through March 5 at Chance Theater @ Bette Aitken theater arts Center on the Fyda-Mar Stage.

Travel to 1943 China in INCIDENT AT HIDDEN TEMPLE World Premiere at Pan Asian Rep

Tisa Chang, Founding Artistic Producing Director of Pan Asian Repertory Theatre, announces its 40th Milestone Season in 2017 with the commissioned World Premiere of INCIDENT AT HIDDEN TEMPLE, which will run from January 21 - February 12, 2017 at the Clurman Theatre at Theatre Row in New York City (410 W. 42nd Street). The official opening will be on Thursday January 26 at 7:30PM.

Marcus Gardley's A WONDER IN MY SOUL to Premiere at Victory Gardens

Victory Gardens Theater continues its season with the World Premiere of A Wonder In My Soul, written by ensemble playwright Marcus Gardley and directed by Artistic Director Chay Yew, with original music by Jaret Landon. A Wonder In My Soul runs February 10 - March 12, 2017, with the press performance on Friday, February 17, 2017, at 7:30pm at Victory Gardens Theater, 2433 N. Lincoln Avenue.

Premiere Stages at Kean University Announces 2017 Bauer-Boucher Award Winner

Premiere Stages, the professional theatre company in residence at Kean University, has named B.V. Marshall as the winner of the 2017 Bauer-Boucher Award. Named for longtime Premiere Stages supporters W. John Bauer and Nancy Boucher, the Bauer-Boucher Award honors the work of gifted Kean student and alumni playwrights. The award is presented in conjunction with the one-day developmental Bauer-Boucher Kean Student/Alumni Reading, which affords the selected playwright the opportunity to hear his or her work read aloud by professional actors at Kean. This year's reading, taking place on January 23 at 3:20pm in the Miron Student Center Little Theatre on the Kean campus, will feature Mr. Marshall's Incident at Willow Creek. In this compelling and timely new work, Verite, an African American college professor, questions her neutral stance on guns after a troubling incident results in the killing of an innocent black man.

Sarah Rudinoff to Star in Lisa Kron's WELL at Seattle Repertory Theatre

Why is it that some people stay sick while others become well? And how do we find the road to recovery? These questions are explored in the acclaimed comedy Well, coming to Seattle Repertory Theatre February 10 - March 5, 2017 (opening night is February 15, 2017) in the Bagley Wright Theatre.

The 2017 FRIGID Festival Presents THE REFUGEE PLAYS

The 2017 FRIGID Festival presents The Refugee Plays, five short plays by Charles Gershman, Penny Jackson, Callie Kimball, Carlos Castro, and Sean E. Cunningham that tell powerful stories of refugees today. Dan Dinero, Logan Reed, and Rachel Dart direct. Performances will be staged at The Kraine Theater, located at 85 E. 4th St. between 2nd Ave Bowery in NYC for five performances from February 16 - March 5, 2017.

The Bostonian Society Welcomes Return of Site-Specific BLOOD ON THE SNOW

On March 6, 1770, four civilians lie dead, and eight more have been wounded by the King's soldiers. As tensions rise in the streets of Boston, Acting Governor Thomas Hutchinson faces an impossible choice. Blood on the Snow, by Patrick Gabridge, dramatizes the events immediately following the infamous Boston Massacre and is staged in the Council Chamber of the Old State House, the very room where the discussion took place nearly 250 years ago.
