Cohen (who also adapted the 1974 novel by Stephen King for the 1976 Brian DePalma film). Directed by Stafford Arima, performances for Carrie begin January 31, 2012, at the Lucille Lortel Theatre. Previews began on November 12, 2011. The roles of David Gamble and Melinda Wells will be played, respectively, by David Turner and Jessie Mueller, in her Broadway debut. The delightful Tony-nominated score by Burton Lane (music) and Alan Jay Lerner (lyrics) is enhanced by classics from their film scores for On A Clear Day You Can See Forever (1970) and Royal Wedding (1951). With a new book by Peter Parnell based on the original book by Alan Jay Lerner, the musical is reconceived and directed by Tony Award-winner Michael Mayer, with choreography by JoAnn M. Hunter. The producers of the 50th Anniversary production of the Tony Award and Pulitzer Prize-winning musical comedy HOW TO SUCCEED IN BUSINESS WITHOUT REALLY TRYING announced today that star of stage and television, Michael Urie ("Ugly Betty," The Temperamentals) will make his Broadway debut as Bud Frump, beginning Tuesday, January 24, 2012, for 6 months through Sunday, July 1, 2012. Urie will co-star with Nick Jonas and Beau Bridges. Urie replaces Christopher J. Hanke, who will play his last performance on Sunday, January 22, 2012 alongside Darren Criss. Daniel Radcliffe, John Larroquette and the rest of the cast and crew of HOW TO SUCCEED IN BUSINESS WITHOUT REALLY TRYING celebrated their 250th performance on Broadway at the Hirschfeld Theatre in New York City on Saturday and BroadwayWorld.com was there to capture the hit show's special backstage celebration. Tony Award nominee Carolee Carmello will assume the role of Mother Superior in the Broadway musical SISTER ACT, beginning performances on Saturday, November 19 at 8:00pm. SISTER ACT is currently in its eighth smash month at the Broadway Theatre (1681 Broadway). Ms. Carmello takes over from Victoria Clark, who originated the role on Broadway and received a Tony Award nomination for her performance.

B. Biggley, beginning Tuesday, January 3, 2012, for 6 months through Sunday, July 1, 2012. Mr. Bridges will co-star with Darren Criss (January 3, 2012 - January 22, 2012) and Nick Jonas (January 24, 2012 - July 1, 2012). Beau Bridges will replace 2011 Tony Award and Drama Desk Award winner John Larroquette, who will play his final performance along with co-star Daniel Radcliffe on Sunday, January 1, 2012. Tickets for Mr. Bridges' engagement in HOW TO SUCCEED IN BUSINESS WITHOUT REALLY TRYING are now on sale.

A special benefit performance of HOW TO SUCCEED IN BUSINESS WITHOUT REALLY TRYING on Thursday, October 6th raised $15,000 for THE TREVOR PROJECT. The performance featured a post-show talkback with star Daniel Radcliffe. A portion of every ticket sold for the October 6 performance was donated to THE TREVOR PROJECT, as well as all proceeds from a post-show auction featuring autographed HOW TO SUCCEED IN BUSINESS WITHOUT REALLY TRYING merchandise.
