Photo Flash: First Look at Buck Creek Players' THOROUGHLY MODERN MILLIE JR.

The Buck Creek Players will end their 2011-2012 season 'It Takes Two' with The Playhouse Players Youth Production of Thoroughly Modern Millie Junior. Opening Friday, July 27th, and running for two weekends through Sunday, August 5th, curtain times will be at 8:00 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, with 2:30 p.m. matinees offered on Sunday. All performances will be held at the Buck Creek Playhouse on Indianapolis' southeast side at 11150 Southeastern Avenue. Get a first look at the cast in the photos below!

FSPA's Little Music School Holds Performances in June

Little Music School students at the Franklin School for the Performing Arts will perform throughout the month of June. Over one hundred young children, students of and Dorothy Brown, Kitty Cheung-Evans, Bryan Eyberg, Priscilla Noyes-Kjorlaug and Kim Rezendes, will perform for their families and friends. The Franklin School for the Performing Arts will host a school-wide Open House on Thursday, June 17 from 4 pm to 8 pm at 38 Main Street in downtown Franklin. FSPA Announces Additions To Faculty In The Music And Dance Departments

The Franklin School for the Performing Arts (FSPA) has announced additions to the faculty in the school's Music and Dance departments. Classes are now underway in FSPA's 25th anniversary season under the direction of founder Raye Lynn Mercer. Since 1985 the school has offered programs for serious study in the arts as well as classes for recreation at 38 Main Street in downtown Franklin.

The zany 1920's musical that won the 2002 Tony Award for Best Musical is directed by director of last season's The Wild Party, Neal Freeman.

The Gallery Players continues its rich 'Broadway in Brooklyn' tradition this January with Thoroughly Modern Millie! Just named one of The Brooklyn Papers' 90 to watch in 09, The Gallery Players will be dancing the Charleston into 2009 with the zany 1920's musical that won the 2002 Tony Award for Best Musical - January 31-February 22, 2009.
