Scott Siegel kicked off the eighth season of Broadway by the Year with a fantastic evening of song and dance.

Transport Group will present Marcy in the Galaxy, a world premiere musical, with book, music, and lyrics by Nancy Shayne, based on a story by Ms. Shayne and Michael Patrick King, and directed by artistic director Jack Cummings III beginning performances Friday, March 28. The opening has been scheduled for Sunday, April 6 at 3PM.

'The Broadway Musicals of 1947,' kicked-off the eighth season of The Town Hall's critically acclaimed Broadway by the Year series on March 3 at Town Hall. The star-studded cast included Howard McGillin, Marc Kudisch, Eddie Korbich, Noah Racey, Donna Lynne Champlin, Meredith Patterson, Kerry O'Malley, Kendrick Jones, Alexander Gemignani, Christiane Noll and Jeffry Denman.

The Stephen Sondheim Center for the Performing Arts has released tickets for the inaugural Winter/Spring 2008 Season.
