Well-Strung: the Singing String Quartet returns to Highline Ballroom - for the first time since May with a new show directed by Donna Drake on Sunday, November 24 at 8:00 PM for one performance only. The group has been on a roll: in addition to their London debut last month, they are just off of a three-month run at the prestigious Art House in Provincetown, two recent hit New York productions Off-Broadway in the past year, their first album just released in spring, and a new music video that has caught the eye of the national press. Jeffery Roberson, better known on stage and screen as his drag icon alter-ego Varla Jean Merman, will appear at London's Leicester Square Theatre in her hit comedy show "The Book of Merman" September 19 - 21. She is joined on a double-bill by fast-rising Well-Strung, the Singing String Quartet who've just had two recent hit Off-Broadway productions in New York and their first album released this year. ITALIAN BRED will play its final performance 7:00 p.m. on July 2nd at the Theatre at St. Luke's in preparation for a run in Los Angeles in the Fall. The performance will benefit ALL STAR PROJECT...a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting human development through the use of an innovative performance-based model. The ASP creates outside of school, educational and performing arts activities for thousands of poor and minority young people. It sponsors community and experimental theatre, develops leadership training and pursues volunteer initiatives that build and strengthen communities.

Off-Broadway's ITALIAN BRED welcomes Janine and Dominick Detore in guest starring cameo roles at the June 11th show. This performance will support GUYON RESCUE. The Detores are major supporters of the Staten Island based charitable organization.
