The romantic dreamer who thrilled Victorian England with his ripping yarn of bravery, survival and celebrity returns to life to recount his tale in OpenStage Theatre's newest offering, Shipwrecked! An Entertainment ? The Amazing Adventures of Louis de Rougemont (As Told by Himself), playing June 1 to July 1 at Open Stage outside on the lawn at Columbine Health Systems at Centre Avenue and Worthington Circle (one block north of Drake and one block east of Shields).

Oberon in association with the Ministry of Theater will present a pre-New York tryout of ROLLER DISCO THE MUSICAL!, an unautherized parody of the classic film Roller Boogie, from May 30 to August 30 at Oberon in Cambridge Massachusetts, with its world premiere opening night on June 13. With executive producer Pablo Rojas, Roller Disco aims to transfer to Off-Broadway in Spring 2013.

Oberon in association with the Ministry of Theater will present a pre-New York tryout of ROLLER DISCO THE MUSICAL!, an unautherized parody of the classic film Roller Boogie, from tonight, May 30 to August 30 at Oberon in Cambridge Massachusetts, with its world premiere opening night on June 13. With executive producer Pablo Rojas, Roller Disco aims to transfer to Off-Broadway in Spring 2013.
Everyman Theatre Announces Directors for 2012-13 Season Productions

Everyman Theatre has announced the directors attached to each of its six productions in the 2012/13 season. Founding Artistic Director Vincent Lancisi will helm two productions during the landmark season, including August: Osage County, which will be the first production at Everyman's new location on Fayette Street in January, 2013. The season will include two productions at the theatre's current location on Charles Street, followed by four productions at the new location on Fayette Street.

Manhattan Theatre Club will celebrate Artistic Director Lynne Meadow's 40th anniversary as the visionary and artistic leader of the organization with a special tribute on Monday, June 18. The event will begin at 6:30 PM with a VIP cocktail reception, followed by a 7:30 tribute event at the Samuel J. Friedman (261 West 47th Street). Immediately after the Friedman tribute event, a party will follow at Copacabana (268 West 47th Street).
