About Face Youth Theatre presents BRAVE LIKE THEM

About Face Theatre is pleased to present the world premiere of BRAVE LIKE THEM, a punk-infused exploration of the underground "riot grrrl" movement of the 1990s, devised and performed by members of the About Face Youth Theatre Ensemble and co-directed by AFT Education and Outreach Director Ali Hoefnagel and Education Coordinator Kieran Kredell. BRAVE LIKE THEM will play seven performances only, July 26 - August 6, 2017 at the Pride Arts Center (The Buena), 4147 N. Marin Center and the Marin Cultural Association, in partnership with Brian Copeland, are thrilled to present The Best of San Francisco Solo Series. For the first time ever in Marin County, Brian Copeland will present FIVE of the Bay Area's most critically-acclaimed, award-winning, and beloved solo shows for an exclusive run at Marin Center. Featuring performances by Copeland, Will Durst, Marga Gomez, Josh Kornbluth and Don Reed. The series runs from October, 2017 through April, 2018.

On Friday, November 13th, 2015 STAGES St. Louis celebrated the countdown to its 30th Anniversary Season at its fourteenth annual Applause! Gala, a benefit to support the organization's Education and Artistic Programs. Applause! 2015 raised proceeds of over $320,000. This year's numbers came on the heels of a spectacular 29th Season, which exceeded revenue goals with nearly $2 million in ticket sales. Judy and Jerry Kent served as the event's Presenting Sponsors and Honorary Co-Chairs, with Lynne Turley as Committee Chairperson. STAGES stars Kari Ely and Steve Isom co-hosted the night.

The Marsh announces the final extension of Don Reed's autobiographical journey CAN YOU DIG IT? The '60s - Back Down East 14th, playing February 14 through March 1, 2014 at The Marsh Berkeley following wildly successful extended runs at The Marsh San Francisco and The Marsh Berkeley. Reed, an Oakland-born comedian, has been the longtime opening act/warm-up comedian for The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, and will step down when Leno passes the hosting duties to Jimmy Fallon and the show moves to New York.
