NBC has announced that on Monday, November 28th, the cast of HAIRSPRAY LIVE will make an appearance on 'Today.' As BWW previously announced, THE GREAT COMET of 1812's Josh Groban will also be performing on the broadcast.

HAIRSPRAY LIVE!, which airs Wednesday, Dec. 7 at 8 p.m. ET/PT from Los Angeles (so soon!), has just released 'unseen footage' of its audition process, featuring appearances by other stars from the NBC family - check it out below! 

The stars of NBC's HAIRSPRAY LIVE! rehearsed for their upcoming performance in the 90th Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, airing Thursday, Nov. 24 (9 a.m.-noon in all time zones). Check out photos below!

The countdown continues for HAIRSPRAY LIVE!, which airs Wednesday, Dec. 7 at 8 p.m. ET/PT from Los Angeles. The all-star cast will feature newcomer Maddie Baillio as Tracy Turnblad, Harvey Fierstein as Edna Turnblad, Jennifer Hudson as Motormouth Maybelle, Martin Short as Wilbur Turnblad, Derek Hough as Corny Collins, Ariana Grande as Penny Pingleton, Andrea Martin as Prudy Singleton and Kristin Chenoweth as Velma Von Tussle. Rosie O'Donnell and Sean Hayes will also make special appearances in the broadcast.

Actress and recording artist Sofia Carson whose performances in the Disney Channel Original Movies 'Descendants' and 'Adventures in Babysitting' catapulted her to stardom and helped supercharge her career as a popular recording artist (Republic Records/Hollywood Records), will be showcased in several holiday telecasts on Disney|ABC Television Group platforms.

PEOPLE reports that both Winokur and Lake will make cameo appearances on NBC's live broadcast. No further details were given on their roles.
