Luther Burbank Center for the Arts Announces Five News Shows Added to 2017 Lineup
Today, Luther Burbank Center for the Arts (the LBC) announced the addition of five new shows and events to its 2017 lineup. On Sunday, March 19, 2017 at 2 p.m., In the Mood, a fully staged tribute to Glenn Miller, Tommy Dorsey, Benny Goodman, Sinatra and the big band greats of the '40s, returns to the LBC with 19 performers on stage, including six singer-dancers. The Grammy-winning duo Indigo Girls bring their signature sonic blend of folk and rock to Santa Rosa on Thursday, March 23, 2017 at 8 p.m. for an outstanding program of fan favorites from across their groundbreaking career.
Due to popular demand, the LBC has added a second performance of Julianne and Derek Hough's MOVE - BEYOND - LIVE ON TOUR on Saturday, June 17, 2017 at 4 p.m. On Saturday August 26, 2017 at 8 p.m., Ira Glass, the host of the popular NPR radio show This American Life, invites audiences to the LBC for an evening of engaging stories about his life, career and his approach with the creative process for Seven Things I've Learned: An Evening with Ira Glass. On Thursday, September 7, 2017 at 8 p.m., Gipsy Kings featuring Nicolas Reyes and Tonino Baliardo, the Grammy-winning band behind the smash hit song "Bamboléo," celebrates over 25 years of flamenco, salsa, and pop fusion perfection in the party-starting spirit of the south of France.
Tickets for In the Mood range in price from $35-$65. Tickets for Indigo Girls range in price from $39-$49. Tickets for Julianne and Derek Hough's MOVE - BEYOND - LIVE ON TOUR range in price from $69-$99. Tickets for Seven Things I've Learned: An Evening with Ira Glass range in price from $39-$55 and tickets for Gipsy Kings featuring Nicolas Reyes and Tonino Baliardo range in price from $59-$79. All five shows go on sale to LBC members Tuesday, January 31 at noon and to the general public on Friday, February 3 at noon.
