Steppenwolf Theatre Company will welcome back Second City alum and star of HBO's hit comedy Curb Your Enthusiasm, Jeff Garlin in Closer Than I Appear, December 4 - 16, 2012. Jeff returns to Steppenwolf following his popular, sold-out run of No Sugar Tonight in 2011. Join him for a hilarious and ever-changing night of stand-up comedy in Steppenwolf's intimate Upstairs Theatre (1650 N Halsted St). Jeff will be "up there doing his thing" for at least one hour 15 minutes. Inspired by a true story, USA's new one-hour drama, GRACELAND, begins production in Fort Lauderdale, FL this week. From Executive Producer and WHITE COLLAR creator, Jeff Eastin, the series is slated to film 11 episodes (in addition to the completed pilot). GRACELAND stars Daniel Sunjata ('Rescue Me') and Aaron Tveit ('Les Miserables') and will bow summer 2013 on USA.

Crackle, the multi-platform entertainment network, today announced its monthly line-up of new and notable titles available across all platforms this November including movies, television series and original programming. This month, viewers can discover the third season of the critically acclaimed drama series "Rescue Me," joining the first two seasons, and sci-fi feature film DISTRICT 9, available for its final month, all at no cost to viewers.

To commemorate the 100-year anniverary of August Strindberg's death Scandinavian American Theater Company has commissioned a diverse group of the most exciting American and Scandinavian dramatists to write short 15-20 minute plays in response to Strindberg's iconic 'Miss Julie'.

The York Theatre Company in association with Edward Negley, Neil Berg and Adam Friedson, welcomes Marya Grandy (Les Miserables, Damn Yankees) to the cast of Closer Than Ever with Lyrics by Richard Maltby, Jr. and Music by David Shire, filling in for Jacquelyn Piro Donovan from October 13 - November 4, due to a prior commitment.

The USA Network half-hour comedy pilot SIRENS cast Michael Mosley ('30 Rock,' 'Pan Am'), Kevin Daniels ('Modern Family'), Jessica McNamee ('The Vow') and Kevin Bigley ('Game Change') to star. Leary will co-write with Fisher ('Wedding Crashers,' 'Traffic Light'), and both will executive produce the series along with Jim Serpico ('Rescue Me'), and Hal Vogel and David Aukin ('Hyde Park on the Hudson,' End Game,' 'The Promise') of Daybreak Pictures. Apostle and Fox Television Studios will produce in conjunction with Daybreak Pictures. The pilot, set to shoot in Chicago later this month, will be directed by Victor Nelli ( 'Happy Endings,' 'Wilfred,' 'Ugly Betty,' 'Scrubs'), who will also executive produce.

James Braly's LIFE IN A MARITAL INSTITUTION has been announced as one of the closing night shows of the upcoming New York Comedy Festival. The critically acclaimed one-man show, written and performed by This American Life contributor James Braly, returns to New York City from its national tour for the first time since its sold-out Off-Broadway run. The special performance on November 11, 2012 at Stage 72 (formerly the Triad Theatre) will be followed by a talk-back with producer Meredith Vieira.

All seven seasons of RESCUE ME -- the Emmy® and Golden Globe® nominated, critically acclaimed FX series following the lives of New York City firefighters who survived the 9/11 attacks - will be available for the first time in one comprehensive set when Sony Pictures Home Entertainment releases RESCUE ME: THE COMPLETE SERIES on DVD today, September 25th.
