West 43rd Street will become a little pinker, as will the Easter Parade (and all of New York City in general) when the actor Leslie Jordan arrives to bring his acclaimed solo show, My Trip Down The Pink Carpet, to the Westside Theatre (407 West 43rd Street) this Spring. Producer Bruce Robert Harris announced that performances will begin on Wednesday, April 15, with an official opening night set for Monday evening, April 20. David Galligan directs the 6-week limited engagement.

Uptown Players continues its eighth season with the Southwest premiere of The Trials and Tribulations of a Trailer Trash Housewife, running Friday, February 13 - Sunday, March 15, 2009, at the KD Studio Theatre. This production is under the direction of Cheryl Denson with music direction by Scott Eckert. Written by Del Shores, The Trials and Tribulations of a Trailer Trash Housewife is a tragic-comedy about domestic violence, set in small town trailer-park Texas. The play explores the lives of Willadean Winkler (Cindee Mayfield), her abusive husband J.D. (TA Taylor), her best-friend LaSonia (Laura Warner) and trashy cocktail waitress Rayleen Hobbs (Melissa Jobe). The play is scored around soul-soaring blues songs (sung by Crystal Ramon).

THE NEW YORK MUSICAL THEATRE FESTIVAL (NYMF), REX KNOWLES and WILL STURTEVANT are pleased to announce the New York premiere production of THAT OTHER WOMAN'S CHILD, directed by Sherry Landrum. THAT OTHER WOMAN'S CHILD, will play a limited engagement at Off-Broadway's 37 Arts Theatre C (450 West 37th Street, NYC). Performances begin Monday, September 29 and continue through to Sunday, October 5.

On April 14, 2008 GAYFEST NYC hosted a major fundraising event as a kick-off for this year's Festival and a benefit for the Harvey Milk High School scholarship fund. 'Entourage's' Rex Lee, Mackenzie Phillips, Beth Grant and Aram Rappaport star in a staged reading of the screenplay, Daybreak, Monday, October 29 at 8PM at The Hayworth. Directed by Lynne Moses, and written by Moses and Aram Rappaport, Daybreak is a production of The Hayworth Theatre's popular Bruno Kirby Celebrity Reading Series.

Delta Burke (Designing Woman, DAG, Delta) will make her Los Angeles stage debut in the critically acclaimed play Southern Baptist Sissies from playwright Del Shores (Queer As Folk, Sordid Lives). The limited four week engagement will begin March 29, 2006.
