IF/THEN Tour, Starring Idina Menzel, Lands in Hollywood This Winter

?Producer David Stone and the Nederlander Organization announce that the L.A. Premiere engagement of IF/THEN starring Tony Award-winner and Broadway superstar Idina Menzel (Wicked, Rent, Frozen, Glee) will begin performances at Hollywood Pantages Theatre on December 8, 2015 for a limited four-week engagement through January 3, 2016.

BroadwayWorld recently announced the full cast for the national tour of IF/THEN, starring Tony Award-winner and Broadway superstar Idina Menzel (Wicked, Rent, Frozen, Glee), Tony Award-winner LaChanze (The Color Purple, Once on This Island), Anthony Rapp (Rent, Six Degrees of Separation, You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown) and James Snyder (Cry-Baby, Rock of Ages). East West Players (EWP), the nation's largest producing organization of Asian American artistic work and the longest-running professional theatre of color in the country, announces their signature "one night only" event fundraiser, which this year will be a tribute to Producing Artistic Director Tim Dang and Arts Education Director Marilyn Tokuda honoring the achievements in their last year at East West Players. On June 30, it was announced that Tim Dang would be stepping down as Artistic Director of EWP in June 2016 and Marilyn Tokuda would be retiring at the same time. Proceeds of One Night Only benefit the artistic and educational programs of East West Players.

'The Who's TOMMY' was originally produced on Broadway by Pace Theatrical Group and Dodger Productions with Kardana Productions. The production is directed by Snehal Desai (EWP's 'A Nice Indian Boy') with musical direction by Marc Macalintal (EWP's 'Chess,' 'Krunk Fu Battle Battle') and choreography by Janet Roston (Ovation Award and NAACP Award winner for 'The Color Purple' at Celebration Theatre). Generous support for this production is provided by the S. Mark Taper Foundation Endowment for East West Players.

Cast Members from the Broadway musical IF/THEN will perform the songs of the Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award winning writing team of Tom Kitt and Brian Yorkey on Monday, March 2 at 54 Below (254 West 54th street). There will be two performances - 7:00pm (sold out) and a special added 11:30pm (tickets available). The one-night only concerts were originally scheduled for Monday, January 26th, but were re-scheduled due to winter storm Juno.

On September 15, 2014, Vitello's Jazz and Supperclub presents Jessica Snow Wilson, Deedee Magno Hall and Yvette Cason in Triple Threat, a monthly Broadway concert series featuring some of LA's finest Broadway talent. Hosted by Michael-Leon Wooley (Little Shop of Horrors, Five Guys Named Moe, The Music Man), Jessica Snow Wilson (Little Shop of Horrors, Les Miserables), Deedee Magno Hall (Miss Saigon), and Yvette Cason (Dreamgirls, Play On!) will present a night of Broadway standards to pop and jazz music, as well as a few original songs.
