La Jolla Playhouse is pleased to announce the dates and location for its fourth biennial Without Walls (WOW) Festival of immersive and site-based work. The 2019 WOW Festival will take place October 17 - 20 at ARTS DISTRICT Liberty Station, in partnership with the NTC Foundation.

The Board of Trustees of La Jolla Playhouse announced today the appointment of Debby Buchholz as the Playhouse's new Managing Director. Buchholz has served as the Playhouse's General Manager since 2002 and will begin her duties in this new role on May 1.
The Guthrie Theater announced that Managing Director Jennifer Bielstein has been elected as president of the League of Resident Theatres (LORT), the largest professional theater association of its kind in the United States, boasting 72 member Theatres in 29 states and the District of Columbia. Bielstein succeeds Timothy J. Shields, the managing director of McCarter Theatre Center, and began her three-year term in May 2017.
The Jungle Book is the largest, most ambitious production ever attempted by The Theatre School. Adapted for the stage by Margaret Larlham, the show is based on the beloved classic by Rudyard Kipling. Theatre School Director Matt Thompson is spearheading the production, with co-directors Tarla Hill (former theatre school student) and Ashley Rossetti and features original music by Thomas Hodges.
