During Miami Art Week 2018, the National YoungArts Foundation brought emerging artists to the fore by announcing a major new granting program for early career visual artists and partnering with major fairs to exhibit the work of YoungArts alumni.

The 86th Annual Hollywood Christmas Parade Featuring Marine Toys for Tots, produced by Associated Television International and presented in associations with The City of Los Angeles, will be televised as a Two-Hour Primetime Special airing on The CW Network on Friday, December 15, 2017 at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT (7:00 p.m. CT) and will be seen on Hallmark after The CW broadcast. The parade will also air to more than one million American servicemen and women worldwide on the American Forces Network during the holiday season.

The 2017/18 season of world-class dance, music and theater continues as the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts (The Wallis) presents its third annual Winter @ The Wallis series. This year, Winter @ The Wallis programming grows to eighteen events to be performed in the Bram Goldsmith Theater and the intimate Lovelace Studio Theater, beginning on Saturday, January 6 with the classical music duo, violinist Sarah Chang and pianist Julio Elizalde. The Stella Adler Studio of Acting, in partnership with The Billie Holiday Theatre at RestorationART, today announced the first-ever Black Arts Theater Winter Immersion course, which will be taught by a world-class faculty in Brooklyn, New York, home to the largest Black community in the nation.
