It can seem a reasonable question to ask of a musical that was so explosively popular that it dominated music charts, history lessons, current-day politics, and social issues all at once - now that some time has passed, is it worth the hype?   Well, the touring production of  HAMILTON now playing at Broadway  San Diego through November  20th yes, the hype is real and it is worth being in the “room where it happens.”

The national tour of the smash hit HAMILTON has triumphantly returned to the Eccles Theater and is safely performing with passion and resilience, creating a special, undeniable experience. 

The 'And Peggy' touring company of Hamilton officially reopened in San Francisco on August 10.

Broadway On Demand will present several special showings, including La Jolla Playhouse’s Spittin Truth to Power (January 19), The Hub Theatre Group’s James Baldwin Project (January 18), The Conviction of Lady Lorraine written and performed by Dwandra Nickole Lampkin (January 15 – January 24), and more.

For 14 years, Hub Performing Arts School has been providing musical theatre education and performance opportunities to kids in the Lubbock area. In 2020, the challenge of the pandemic brought the opportunity to provide these services and opportunities to a greater population- online!
