Today, SHOWTIME unveiled what DEXTER fans have been anticipating for months – the official trailer of the eighth season of DEXTER, which offers an extended look at what's in store for the landmark series' final season. DEXTER premieres on Sunday, June 30 at 9 p.m. ET/PT.

On the heels of Jodi Arias' murder conviction last week, Lifetime today announced that its original movie Jodi Arias: Dirty Little Secret will make its world premiere on Saturday, June 22, at 8:00pm ET/PT.

SHOWTIME announces its line-up for 2013 Summer/Fall programming!

In a special announcement this afternoon made directly to DEXTER's 13 million fans on the show's Facebook page, SHOWTIME confirmed that the upcoming eighth season of the groundbreaking series will be its final one. The announcement coincided with the release of an exclusive tease from the premiere of the series' eighth and final season, which debuts on Sunday June 30th at 9 p.m. ET/PT on SHOWTIME. The series premiered on the network on October 1, 2006 and has grown its loyal audience every season since its debut. DEXTER was the recipient of the prestigious Peabody Award, as well as 25 Emmy and 10 Golden Globe Award nominations, and was twice named one of AFI's top ten television series.

TVGuide reports that the upcoming season of the Showtime hit DEXTER may be its last. At yesterday's Deutsche Bank Media, Internet and Telecom conference, Les Moonves, president and CEO of CBS Corp., which owns Showtime, commented that the drama will begin its final season this summer.

Michael Puzzo's Spirits of Exit Eleven at The Lion Theatre at Theatre Row (410 W. 42nd Street, NYC) opened on Thursday, January 17th at 8PM. Actor Jason Gedrick has joined the cast of SHOWTIME's Emmy® nominated drama series DEXTER™ for Season 7. Gedrick, who will appear in a multi-episode arc, will play the manager of a Miami-area gentlemen's club that becomes linked to a high-profile murder case. Production on DEXTER begins in May in Los Angeles and will premiere on SHOWTIME Sunday, September 30th at 9:00 PM ET/PT.
