Tickets For Cincinnati Playhouse Season On Sale July 16

Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park will begin selling single tickets for the 2018-2019 season on Monday, July 16. Single tickets will be available for all of 12 the season's productions, including the highly anticipated world premiere of CINCINNATI KING, a musical about Cincinnati's historic King Records, and the Tony Award-winning Broadway hit from the creator of Hamilton, IN THE HEIGHTS.

Pittsburgh Public Theater Presents HAMLET

To complete his illustrious career leading Pittsburgh Public Theater, Ted Pappas has chosen William Shakespeare's Hamlet as the final play he will direct as the company's Producing Artistic Director. His cast of 21 actors will be led by Indiana, PA native Matthew Amendt. Hamlet runs April 19 - May 20, 2018 at the O'Reilly Theater, Pittsburgh Public Theater's home in the heart of Downtown's Cultural District. For tickets call 412.316.1600 or visit ppt.org. BWW Review: THE PRICE at Gulfshore Playhouse

If you are looking for a more low-key play that makes you think about the conflicts between obligation, desires, time, and money, THE PRICE is absolutely for you. Gulfshore Playhouse manages to bring to life a complex, compelling show that many people will be able to learn something from. Every aspect of this production was thought out very well, and I encourage you to see it if you are interested in experiencing an intense night of theatre.

Broadway And Film Stars Take The Stage In Gulfshore Playhouse's THE PRICE

As its first production of the new year, Gulfshore Playhouse presents Arthur Miller's The Price. Starring Jeffrey Binder (Broadway's Lion King and Mary Poppins ), David Whalen (star of motion pictures Fault in our Stars and American Pastoral ), Stuart Zagnit (Broadway's Newsies, Wicked, and Seussical ), and Marilee Talkington (off-Broadway's Truce) and directed by Kristen Coury, Gulfshore Playhouse's founder and producing artistic director, The Price will run from Saturday, Jan. 13 through Sunday, Feb. 4.

City Theatre to Stage World Premiere of SOME BRIGHTER DISTANCE

The world premiere production of Some Brighter Distance continues the 2015-2016 season at City Theatre on the Mainstage, January 23 - February 14, 2016. The play is written by Keith Reddin and directed by City Theatre Artistic Director Tracy Brigden.

Written by Carlo Goldoni in 1746, the play was adapted for a contemporary audience by Lee Hall, author of the blockbuster movie and hit musical Billy Elliot. A Servant To Two Masters is the 50th production directed by Ted Pappas for Pittsburgh Public Theater.
