On Monday, September 23, Gingold Theatrical Group's Project Shaw, under the leadership of Artistic Director David Staller, presented Otherland by David Cote, as a part of Shaw New York 2013, the annual Shaw-based festival in New York City, with events now through October 13 at The Pearl Theatre Company's 555 West 42nd Street home.

The Pearl Theatre Company kicks off its 30th anniversary season-the second season in its new home on West 42nd Street-with the first New York revival in 15 years of George Bernard Shaw's You Never Can Tell in a co-production with the Gingold Theatrical Group that is directed by David Staller. Running September 3-October 13, the show's sumptuous costumes, elegant settings and Shavian wit will raise a champagne toast to a year of celebration at The Pearl, where Shaw, following Shakespeare, has been the second most produced playwright in The Pearl's history. Gingold Theatre Company's Project Shaw will present a reading of ON THE ROCKS, on July 22 at THe Players Club. A heart-warming cocktail about money, greed, politics and sex. This viciously witty comedy tackles, head-first, the unthinkable concept of a country in the midst of an economic depression. Unemployment, health care, human rights you name it. It's a riotous cast of character, assembled as only possible in the always-surprising imagination of G.B.S.

Gingold Theatrical Group's PROJECT SHAW presented Bernard Shaw's madcap comedy TOO TRUE TO BE GOOD at The Players Club (16 Gramercy Park South) in Manhattan. David Staller produced and directed. In TOO TRUE TO BE GOOD, a glamorous pair of jewel thieves (Charles Busch and Robert Cuccioli) convince a chronic young convalescent (Ryann Redmond) to steal her own jewels and run away with them to a tropical paradise. Her over-protective mother (Jackie Hoffman) comes chasing after them and a riotous time is had by all. This is Shaw's 1931 madcap high-comedy journey, which takes on fad diets, the medical profession, the military, war, religion, and sex. It's a short and lively comedic lark.

Founded in 1984, The Pearl Theatre Company, New York's only classical Resident Acting Company, began as a small troupe of artists in Chelsea and is now a celebrated Off-Broadway institution with its own permanent home on West 42nd Street. The Pearl's 30th anniversary season will showcase the Company's talents in productions of classic plays that are especially suited to the ensemble's skills—including a world premiere written especially for them.

The Pearl Theatre Company has rescheduled the world premiere of Terrence McNally's And Away We Go. The production will anchor The Pearl's 30th season, running November 11 - December 22, rather than the previously announced April 19 - May 19, which will now be dedicated to a production of This Side of Neverland featuring two one-acts, Rosalind and The Twelve Pound Look, by J. M. Barrie.
