Drayton Festival Theatre opens its doors and raises the curtain on the 2013 Season with The Songs of Sinatra, an unforgettable tribute to The Chairman of the Board, Frank Sinatra. Playing eight shows a week, May 8th through June 1st this energetic production is a real treat for fans of the incomparable musical legend.

Direct from a smash hit season in Edinburgh and at Adelaide's Fringe, Ali's new show Alchemy draws on all of her influences from Opera, Burlesque and trashy 80's pop divas for inspiration. Working with the finest Jazz musicians, she creates unique hybrids from popular songs, standards and blues.

Milieu Theatrics presents the premiere of Date Me, Do Me, Dump Me, a naughty, side-splitting musical comedy by Steven Mitchell of New York City. The show features original music and lyrics by Marianna Forti and Leah Gray, formerly of the New York band "Two Chicks and a Casio." It plays August 2nd through 5th. Following its Sydney premiere on July 2, TWISTED BROADWAY is set to return to its hometown on July 23. After two successful seasons in Melbourne, 2012 will prove to be the show's biggest yet with the talented hosts Melissa Bergland and Rhonda Burchmore bringing the ol' razzle dazzle.

Golden Globe(C) winner and famous 'Housewife' Teri Hatcher has signed a directing and recurring guest star role deal with ABC Family for the original series JANE BY DESIGN. Hatcher will be playing Jane's (Erica Dasher) long-lost mother for four episodes to be filmed between mid-May and mid-June, and will make her appearance starting on the June 19th episode.

Melbourne's Musical Theatre community came together at The BMW Edge on Monday night in a celebration of togetherness for a wonderful cause. Thousands were raised for Oz Showbiz Cares/Equity Fights Aids. Hosted by the highly entertaining Leah Howard and Brent Hill, the programme featured performers from musicals being performed around Australia including Rock of Ages, Mary Poppins, Wicked and Love Never Dies. The concept was simple with performers singing songs originally written for the opposite gender. There were many highlights of the night including Gareth Keegan's charismatic performance of Life of The Party from the Wild Party, David Rogers Smith and Troy Sussman's highly comic version of I know Him So Well from Chess was vocally effortless and the riotous Amy Housewine had the audience in stitches with her outrageous parody of If I Only Had A Brain from the Wizard of Oz, (If I Only Had Cocaine). Matt Robinson's Original Composition from his show Sing Through Tomorrow was also a real feature of the evening.

Proceeds will benefit Westport's Homes with Hope. Two previous 'Forbidden Westport' productions in 2001 and 2002 were sellouts.
