In 1980, a musical based on the beloved novel Flowers For Algernon, by Charles Strouse and David Rogers, opened on Broadway. Though it ran for less than month, Strouse's wonderful score was recorded by the London company and has lived on in vinyl. For one night only, Second Act Concerts will present the haunting score in a concert at Feinstein's/54 Below.

Victoria Playhouse Petrolia opened its 2016 last night to a sold out crowd with Scotland Sings. While the spirit of celebration filled the air in Petrolia, Co-Artistic Director David Hogan spoke of those affected by the fires in Fort McMurray, Alberta.
