When the ladies of Rylstone Women's Institute came up with the idea of stripping off for a charity calendar back in 1998 they had no idea they would spark a global phenomenon. Anne Charleston, best-known for her role as ‘Madge' in 'Neighbours', rejoins the cast of 'CALENDAR GIRLS' in the role of ‘Jessie - Miss January' after receiving critical acclaim in the role earlier this year. The current cast, which includes Elaine C Smith, Denise Black, Jennifer Ellison, Julia Hills, Rachel Lumberg and Ruth Madoc, are happy to welcome Anne back to the 'CALENDAR GIRLS' fold.

Estelle Parsons, who won an Oscar for playing ‘Blanche' in the legendary 1967 film 'Bonnie and Clyde', will make her West End stage debut starring as ‘Helga ten Dorp' in Ira Levin's thriller 'DEATHTRAP', which will open at the Noël Coward Theatre in London on Tuesday 7 September. Simon Russell Beale will star as ‘Sydney Bruhl', Jonathan Groff as ‘Clifford Anderson' and Claire Skinner as ‘Myra Bruhl'; the cast also includes Terry Beaver.

Michael Riedel reports in today's New York Post that the West End production of DEATHTRAP which stars Simon Russell Beale and Jonathan Groff has its eyes on Broadway if it receives positive reviews in London. The show is said to have an advance of more than $1 million dollars.
