Bellingham, Chazen, Dallerup Lead CALENDAR GIRLS Tour

A new star-studded cast has been announced for the 2011 tour of "CALENDAR GIRLS", which is now the most successful play ever to tour the United Kingdom.

The SEVENTH leg of the tour of "CALENDAR GIRLS" will open at the Kings Theatre, Glasgow on 30 August starring Lynda Bellingham (the original star of "CALENDAR GIRLS" on stage, 'OXO Mum' and Loose Woman) as 'Chris - Miss October', Debbie Chazen ('Annie' in BBC comedy "The Smoking Room") as 'Ruth - Miss November', Camilla Dallerup (Strictly Come Dancing professional dancer) as 'Elaine', Jennifer Ellison (famously 'Roxie Hart' in "Chicago", both in London and on a sell-out tour and "Hell's Kitchen" winner) as 'Cora - Miss July', Jan Harvey ('Jan Howard' in "Howards Way") as 'Annie - Miss February', Rula Lenska (currently starring in "Coronation Street") as 'Celia - Miss September', June Watson (legendary television actress) as 'Jessie - Miss January', Ruth Madoc (nationally known as 'Gladys Pugh' in "Hi-De-Hi!" and "Little Britain") as 'Miss March', with Bruno Langley (a regular in "Coronation Street" and 'Adam Mitchell' in "Doctor Who") will play photographer 'Lawrence' and Joe McGann (famous as one of the McGann brothers and from TVs "Upper Hand") as 'John'.

This cast are in for some exciting dates and will follow their week in Glasgow's Kings Theatre (30 August - 3 September), with a visit to Llandudno Venue Cymru (5 - 10 September), and then subsequently to Sunderland Empire (12 - 17 September), Futurist Theatre Scarborough (19 - 24 September), Blackpool Opera House (26 September - 1 October), Grand Opera House, Belfast (3 - 8 October), Bromley Churchill Theatre (10 - 15 October), Bradford Alhambra Theatre (17 - 22 October), Wolverhampton Grand Theatre (24 - 29 October), Northampton Derngate (31 October - 5 November), Ipswich Regent Theatre (7 - 12 November), Aylesbury Waterside Theatre (14 - 19 November), Liverpool Empire Theatre (21 - 29 November) and Richmond Theatre (28 November - 3 December) Tickets can be booked at www.seecalendargirls.com.

"CALENDAR GIRLS", the stage play by Tim Firth adapted from the screenplay he wrote for the 2003 film, is directed by Jack Ryder, has a set by Robert Jones, with lighting by Tim Lutkin, costumes by Jack Galloway and music by Steve Parry. "CALENDAR GIRLS" is produced by David Pugh & Dafydd Rogers.

Award-winning producers David Pugh & Dafydd Rogers have now also announced that they will be releasing the AMATEUR RIGHTS to "CALENDAR GIRLS" FOR ONE YEAR ONLY from September 2012.
