The Western Stage to Present Dysfunctional Family Comedy 'THE BOONDAWGLE ESTATE'

Meet the Boondawgle family: one hypochondriac, one split personality, one who lives in an imaginary world of grandeur, the controller, the troublemaker, and the one whose only desire is to settle his late uncle's estate and skip town. LANDSCAPE Receives NYC Premiere Tonight at Dixon Place

LANDSCAPE follows a group of strangers striving to connect to with one another as they hustle through an impersonal metropolis. An overarching theme unearths what lies beneath every seemingly 'dog vs cat' encounter: the yearning for community. LANDSCAPE reconstructs the 'city of strangers' paradigm through sensuously violent and fluid movement sequences that break through to moments of shocking intimacy.

Old friend and acclaimed David Parker, the Boston-bred choreographer/singer/percussive dancer who leads The Bang Group (TapTheYard; Nut/Cracked), is the mentoring ghost in the machine.

Guest Blog: Director Adam Spreadbury-Maher On COMING CLEAN

I wanted to direct Coming Clean for the King's Head Theatre because I think it's a beautiful piece of work by a wonderful playwright. I'm astonished that it's not had a major London revival in the 35 years since the original production at the Bush Theatre and wanted, in the 50th anniversary month of the decriminalisation of homosexuality, to introduce it to a whole new generation.
