Woodie King Jr's New Federal Theatre kicks off its 46th season with 'The Amira Baraka Project' - featuring a revival of his early acclaimed play Dutchman from 1964 and the world premiere of his final play, Most Dangerous Man In America (W. E. B. Du Bois), written fifty years later. Dutchman, directed by Woodie King Jr., will begin performances tonight, February 5th, with opening night set for February 20th at the Castillo Theater (543 West 42nd Street). This limited Off-Broadway engagement will continue through March 8th only. Most Dangerous Man In America (W. E. B. Du Bois) follows in May.

Three holiday spirits - Christmas Past, Present and Future - conspire to redeem a miserly humbug at the Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park as U.S. Bank presents Charles Dickens' iconic holiday story, A CHRISTMAS CAROL. The beloved tale, enjoyed each season by multiple generations of Cincinnatians, will be performed for its 24th year in the Playhouse's Robert S. Marx Theatre from tonight Nov. 26 through Dec. 28.

Berkshire Theatre Group has announced the reprise of its annual community production of Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol, adapted by Eric Hill and co-directed by Eric Hill and Travis G. Daly and presented for the fourth time at The Colonial Theatre in Pittsfield. This year's production includes 30 talented young Berkshire county actors many of whom are returning to the Colonial Theatre and some who are performing for the first time.

'Outside Mullingar' is now being performed at the George Street Playhouse through November 2nd. Written by John Patrick Shanley and directed by David Saint, this wonderful production is perfect to kick off the theatre's 2014-2015 season.

Berkshire Theatre Group presents the world premiere of POE by Eric Hill at the Unicorn Theatre in Stockbridge, imagining the last days of the writer before his untimely death in Baltimore in 1849. In the title role, David Adkins breathes life into the man, but the play needs life support. Kate Maguire mesmerizes with her recitation of 'The Tell-Tale Heart,' showing that Poe's own words can best provide the necessary drama.
