It may be cold outside, but the action is sizzling inside as the Downriver Actors Guild turns up the heat with "Chicago - the Musical."

The Citizens Theatre today announces a new production of Graham Greene's Travels With My Aunt, a Brexit-inspired production from the National Theatre and shows by top theatre companies Cheek by Jowl and Kneehigh in their season which runs from January - June 2017.

Blythe Duff is to appear on the Citizens stage as author, historian and journalist Gitta Sereny in Into That Darkness, a chilling dramatisation of interviews with a convicted Nazi war criminal, opening at the theatre on Monday 18 May until Saturday 30 May.

Artistic Director Dominic Hill directs Shakespeare's Hamlet in the headline production of the Citizens Theatre's Autumn 2014 season.

The best of Broadway will be presented FREE on six consecutive Thursdays this summer with "106.7 LITE FM's Broadway in Bryant Park 2014" - a lunchtime series kicking off tomorrow, July 10 on the Bryant Park Stage. Cast members of The Charlottetown Festival's Evangeline and DEAR JOHNNY DEERE raised their voices in support of the Actors' Fund of Canada on August 29, 30 and 31 in Prince Edward Island and audience members responded by contributing an amazing $7,364 in support of the Canadian charity.
