According to Variety, Stars of the stage and screen Alec Baldwin, Hugh Jackman, Jude Law, and Chris Pine are set to voice animated characeters in the upcoming 3D movie: Rise of the Guardians, The film is expected to be released in November 2012. David Lindsay-Abaire will write te screenplay for the movie, while Peter Ramsey and William Joyce are set to direct.

Steven Drukman's The Prince of Atlantis will have a staged reading January 10 at 7:30 p.m. as part of South Coast Repertory's NewSCRipts series. The Prince of Atlantis is the 113th play to receive a staged reading in SCR's venerable play reading program.

Last season's biggest Off-Broadway hit, Circle Mirror Transformation, will have its West Coast premiere on SCR's Julianne Argyros Stage Jan. 9 - 30.

American Repertory Theater will present THE BLUE FLOWER by Jim and Ruth Bauer at the Loeb Drama Center December 1, 2010 - January 8, 2011. The production will be directed by Will Pomerantz, with movement by Tom Nelis, and music direction by Mark Rubenstein.
