Milwaukee Repertory Theater continues their 2014/15 Quadracci Powerhouse Season with Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright David Lindsay-Abaire's powerful award-winning play Good People. This recent Tony-nominated Broadway hit explores complex social questions about class, luck, and escaping our roots with electric energy and razor sharp humor. The cast for Good People includes Associate Artist Laura Gordon in the title role, Milwaukee actress Tami Workentin, guest actors Bernard Balbot, Michael Elich, and Laura T. Fisher, all making their Rep debuts, and Artistic Intern Ensemble Member Jennifer Latimore. Directed by renowned director Kate Buckley, the production runs January 20 - February 15, 2015 and opens on Friday, January 23.

59E59 Theaters will welcome the world premiere of THE ROAD TO DAMASCUS, written by Tom Dulack and directed by Michael Parva. Produced by The Directors Company and part of the 59E59's inaugural 5A Season, THE ROAD TO DAMASCUS begins performances on Saturday, January 17 at 8 PM for a limited engagement through Sunday, March 1. Million Dollar Quartet, the longest-running Broadway musical production in Chicago's history, which has been extended through Spring 2015, announces an unprecedented Winter Weather Guarantee. From January-March 2015, Million Dollar Quartet will exchange previously purchased tickets if inclement weather makes it difficult, or impossible, to travel to the theater.

Asolo Rep's 2014-15 season continues with GOOD PEOPLE, David Lindsay-Abaire's 2011 Tony nominated play that cracks open the gritty world of the blue collar worker to reveal America's often rigid social strata. Academy Award-winning actress Frances McDormand received a Tony Award for Best Actress for her portrayal of the play's central character, Margie Walsh, in 2011. This sharp comedy-infused drama opens Friday, January 16, 2015 at 8pm, with previews Wednesday, January 14 and Thursday, January 15 at 8pm. Directed by Greg Leaming, Associate Artistic Director of Asolo Rep and the Director of the FSU/Asolo Conservatory for Actor Training, GOOD PEOPLE will close on Sunday, March 1, 2015.

The crowd-pleasing musical takes place at Aspen's Wheeler Opera House today, Dec. 11 - Sat. Dec 13, with evening shows at 7:00pm, and a matinee on Sat., Dec. 13 at 2:00pm.

Pat Ciamacco, artistic director at Blank Canvas, has a 'thing' for off-beat musicals. Sure, he produced 'Hair' and 'Godspell,' but it's more likely that what you'll see mounted on his stage are 'Beach Blanket Party,' 'Debbie Does Dallas,' and 'Texas Chainsaw Musical.' I'm surprised he's missed out on 'Bullshot Crummond,' 'Dance of the Vampires,' 'Expresso Bongo,' 'Hands on a Hard Body, and, of course, 'The Rocky Horror Show.'

Lynne Meadow (Artistic Director) and Barry Grove (Executive Producer) just announce the first two productions of Manhattan Theatre Club's 2015-2016 season. MTC's Broadway season at the Samuel J. Friedman Theatre (261 West 47th Street) will begin next fall with the Broadway premiere of Williamstown Theatre Festival's acclaimed production of Fool for Love by Pulitzer Prize winner Sam Shepard, directed by Obie Award winner Daniel Aukin, starring Tony Award winner Nina Arianda and Sam Rockwell.

On September 19, 2014, some of the biggest stars on Broadway were invited to perform at a benefit concert for the Amigos de Jesus Orphanage (http://www.amigosdejesus.org/) and the children of Honduras. Manhattan Theatre Club just presented its Fall Benefitlast night, honoring longtime MTC collaborator, Tony Award winner Daniel Sullivan. The evening featured appearances by some of Broadway's biggest names: Danny Burstein (The Snow Geese), Raul Esparza (The Homecoming), Boyd Gaines (The Columnist), Heather MacRae who appeared in the 1968 production of Hair which Sullivan served as assistant director,Frances McDormand (Good People), Cynthia Nixon (Rabbit Hole), friend and colleague Jack O'Brien, Mary-Louise Parker(Proof), and David Hyde Pierce (Accent on Youth). Fort Wayne Civic Theatre will present Shrek The Musical, tonight, November 8-23, 2015 at the Arts United Center.

The Broadway @ series originated at its now-famous home in Provincetown, MA in the summer of 2011. Since that time the series, hosted by SiriusXM radio star and pianist Seth Rudetsky and produced by Mark Cortale, has attracted Broadway's biggest stars, such as Patti LuPone, Audra McDonald, Sutton Foster, Megan Hilty, Cheyenne Jackson, Chita Rivera, and many other marquee names. The series has also now leapt to ongoing seasons in New Orleans, Fort Lauderdale, Los Angeles, the Poconos, Woodstock, NY, Hartford, Detroit, as well as Sydney, Australia and London's West End.

The monologues will be read at a public reading tonight, November 6, 2014 following the 8:00 p.m. performance. The writers will also receive a session with American Voices New Play Institute Dramaturg Jocelyn Clarke, a listing in the Our War program and an award certificate. The finished monologues along with video clips of the performed monologues will be posted on Arena Stage's website and shared via social media. Directed by Anita Maynard-Losh, Our War runs October 21 - November 9, 2014 in the Arlene and Robert Kogod Cradle.
