“Dateline NBC” (1.3/4 in 18-49, 5.6 million viewers overall from 9-10 p.m. ET) grew week to week by 8% in adults 18-49 (to a 1.3 rating from a 1.2), 6% in adults 25-54 (1.8 vs. 1.7) and 6% in total viewers (5.607 million vs. 5.283 million). “Dateline” equaled its highest 18-49 rating sinceSeptember 13. From its first half-hour to its fourth, “Dateline” increased by 45% in 18-49 rating (to a 1.6 from a 1.1), by 1.5 million persons or 31% in total viewers (6.4 million vs. 4.9 million) and by 47% in adults 25-54 (2.2 vs. 1.5). in the 10:30 lead-in to local news, “Dateline” delivered a 10% margin of victory in the key news demo of adults 25-54 (with a 2.2 rating vs. a 2.0 for CBS's second-place “Blue Bloods,” breaking a tie at 2.0 each from 10-10:30).
