NANCY, based on his book and produced by Jerry Seinfeld.

S.U.C.K. (Stand Up Comedy Klub) announces two more dates for their monthly stand-up show at The Mockingbird Bar in the East Village. Dates include July 21 and August 25 at 8:00 pm.

Comedian and I'M DYING UP HERE star Erik Griffin (Workaholics, Blunt Talk) makes his hour-long debut in the new comedy special ERIK GRIFFIN: THE UGLY TRUTH premiering Friday, July 7 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on SHOWTIME.

New York Musical Festival and 4M Productions will present the East Coast premiere of THE FOURTH MESSENGER, a contemporary Western re-imagining of the Buddha legend featuring a flawed, female Buddha figure, as part of the New York Musical Festival. The production, which begins performances on Tuesday, July 18th at The Acorn Theatre at Theatre Row (410 West 42nd Street) includes book and lyrics by Tanya Shaffer and music and additional lyrics by Vienna Teng, and is directed by Broadway director Matt August (Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas: the Musical). The Capitol Center for the Arts ("CCA") welcomes critically acclaimed singer-songwriter Amos Lee to its mainstage on Wednesday, August 2. 

Combine the typical struggles of childhood with the emotional implications of being above average weight during that formative time, plus the nuances of growing up in an Italian-American family in New York, and mix it with a heaping spoonful of levity and humor: that's comedian Mary Dimino's Scared Skinny in a nutshell.

Broadway's "Phantom," Ciaran Sheehan, returns to Reagle Music Theatre of Greater Boston to take on the role of GAYLORD RAVENAL in Jerome Kern and Oscar Hammerstein II's 1927 masterpiece Show Boat. Running from July 6-16 for 8 performances only, Show Boat will also star Boston's own Sarah Oakes Muirhead (Sunday in the Park with George) as MAGNOLIA HAWKS. 

The guest list for Spike TV's “ONE NIGHT ONLY: ALEC BALDWIN, a night of comedic tributes from his closest friends and co-stars, is growing with some of the biggest names in entertainment and comedy.

Yonder Window Theatre Company and Parity Productions have announced that writer/performer Romy Nordlinger's Places is among the selected performances for this year's East to Edinburgh at 59E59 Theaters (Val Day, Artistic Director; Brian Beirne, Managing Director). Places will play 6 performances in July before traveling to Edinburgh, Scotland for the 2017 Fringe Festival where it will have 25 performances over the month of August (4th - 27th).  

One of music's most enduring and beloved recording artists will be returning to a familiar stage this weekend, as Wanda Jackson makes a rare appearance on the Grand Ole Opry this Saturday, June 17.

Nick Kroll is in the upcoming film “The House” with Will Ferrell and Amy Poehler and the Netflix special OH, HELLO ON BROADWAY. Kroll tells TODAY that Steve Martin and Michael J. Fox are among the “Oh, Hello” guest stars.
