Bert Kreischer to Embark on Australian Tour this September

BERT "The Machine" KREISCHER is an American stand-up comedian, actor and reality television star who is touring Australia for the very first time and appearing at Sydney's Just For Laughs Comedy Festival. He is the host of the Travel Channel's Trip Flip, Bert the Conqueror and Hurt Bert.

He is a regular guest on The Joe Rogan Experience and Rachael Ray Show and has appeared on Late Night With David Letterman and Jimmy Kimmel Live. His one-hour special Comfortably Dumb appeared on Comedy Central and his book Life of the Party, Stories of a Perpetual Man-Child shares the hilarious and outrageous stories that define his comedy and exemplify what has made him one of the best story tellers of his generation.

Bert spent six years at Florida State University. In 1997 Rolling Stone Magazine published The Undergraduate, a six-page article about him. The Magazine named Bert the Number One Partier in the nation and the article was the inspiration behind the 2002 film Van Wilder. Moving to New York to begin a career in comedy, within five months he was offered a sit-com deal with Will Smith's Production Company. A year later, he signed a development deal with CBS where he made his acting debut starring in the CBS pilot Life With David J with Elliot Gould. Bert also appeared in Comedy Central's Premium Blend, Never Mind The Buzzcocks and as host of The X Show. On The X Show his segment Hurt Bert was awarded E!'s Talk Soup clip of the year and has now been developed into his current television series of the same name which involves Kreischer getting, well, hurt!
