ANNIE, the critically acclaimed new production of the Tony Award-winning musical, celebrates one year on Broadway with this evening's performance. ANNIE began preview performances at the Palace Theatre (Broadway and 47th Street) on October 3, 2012, and opened on November 8, 2012.

MOTOWN THE MUSICAL hosted a nationwide open call casting search inside the historic Lunt Fontanne Theatre for African American singers for both the flagship Broadway production and the upcoming national tour. The producers of ANNIE announced this evening that the show will play its final performance on Broadway on Sunday, January 5, 2014. Upon closing, the production, which opened on November 8, 2012 at the Palace Theatre (Broadway at 47th Street), will have played 487 performances and 38 previews.

Producers Kevin McCollum, Doug Morris and Berry Gordy are proud to announce 'Makin' It Motown,' a nationwide open call casting search for African American singers for both the Broadway production of MOTOWN THE MUSICAL and the upcoming national tour, with a rare opportunity to audition for this hit Broadway musical at the Oriental Theatre (24 W. Randolph) on Saturday, September 14. The first national tour will launch in Chicago in April 2014 at the Oriental Theatre.

The Jam, an innovative, soul revealing 'play on words' jam session, woven together by original pieces written by Daniel J. Watts (Motown, In The Heights, Memphis, The Color Purple) will take place on Monday, September 9th at Canal Room located at 285 W. Broadway (just south of Canal St.).

BroadwayWorld has confirmed that Jenni Barber, who most recently starred in THE NANCE on Broadway will take on 'Grace Farrell' in ANNIE beginning August 20. Brynn O'Malley, who currently plays the role, will temporarily depart to star in HONEYMOON IN VEGAS at Paper Mill Playouse. She will return to the production on November 5.

Directed by Alex Timbers, Here Lies Love officially opened on Tuesday, April 23 and was extended a fourth and final time to today, July 28.
