Motown The Musical, the Tony Award-nominated tribute to the musical greats of the 1960s and '70s, brings its signature sound and American dream story to Starlight Theatre for six performances August 22-27. The acclaimed musical follows the true life story of Motown founder Berry Gordy Jr. on his journey from featherweight boxer to heavyweight music mogul. The man who founded Motown records in Detroit in 1959 went on to launch the careers of Diana Ross, Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder, Smokey Robinson, Marvin Gaye and so many more.

Ever wonder what Hamilton would look like on a completely different set? In a recent interview with Variety, Hamilton director Thomas Kail and scenic designer David Korins chatted about how they landed on the final concept for his design.

Broadway In Chicago and Producers Kevin McCollum, Doug Morris and Motown Founder Berry Gordy are delighted to announce that individual tickets for the return of MOTOWN THE MUSICAL will go on sale on Friday, July 28, 2017.

Motown the Musical has just released 500,000 new tickets for sale, taking bookings for the hit West End production into 2019 when the show will celebrate its third year in London and Motown will celebrate sixty years since the record company was founded. 

Motown The Musical will play Hershey Theatre from Today, July 19th through Sunday, July 23rd.
