Centaur Theatre Company and Axis Theatre's The Number 14 will end its Montreal premiere on May 26. Conceived and written by The Number 14 Creative Collective, the play is directed by Wayne Specht.

59E59 Theaters (Elysabeth Kleinhans, Artistic Director; Peter Tear, Executive Producer) is thrilled to announce the US premiere of THE BOAT FACTORY, written by Dan Gordon and directed by Philip Crawford, coming to Brits Off Broadway direct from the Grand Opera House, Belfast. Produced by Happenstance Theatre Company, THE BOAT FACTORY begins previews on Tuesday, June 4 for a limited engagement through Sunday, June 30. Opening Night is Sunday, June 9 at 7:15 PM. The performance schedule is Tuesday - Thursday at 7:15 PM; Friday at 8:15 PM; Saturday at 2:15 PM & 8:15 PM; Sunday at 3:15 PM & 7:15 PM. Access Theater & The Dirty Blondes' present award-winning director Alexandra Siladi (Outstanding Director, Planet Connections Festivity 2012) and actor/filmmaker Shane Jensen's production of PASSING THROUGH: Room 603, April 10-14. The show features the theatrical premiere of plays from Hotel Room (a miniseries produced by David Lynch & Monty Montgomery) including two works by Barry Gifford and a third developed from Jay McInerney's teleplay. This year marks the 20th anniversary of its original air date.
Producer Garth Drabinsky Fights to Block Removal from Order of Canada

According to court documents, in November the Advisory Committee of the Order of Canada brought forward a recommendation to Governor General David Johnston that would strip former Livent executive Garth Drabinksy of his Order of Canada. Now, Drabinsky is fighting back. Published reports confirm that on Thursday Drabisnky filed a legal application to block the termination. In his application he claims that a criminal conviction should not be cause for removal of the prestigious honor.

Written by playwright Beverley Cooper, the captivating drama was a sold out hit when it premiered at the Blyth Festival in 2008. It also proved to be a roaring success when it was revived the following season due to popular demand.

Blue Coyote Theater Group Adds 11/18 Performance of CONEY

Due to popular ticket demand, Blue Coyote Theater Group announces that David Johnston's CONEY will have an additional performance on Sunday, November 18 at 2PM, which will now be its final performance. The remaining performance schedule for CONEY is Wednesday - Saturday at 8 PM, and Sunday at 2 PM.

Because of the MTA shutdown, tonight's performance (Sunday, October 28 at 7 PM) of David Johnston's CONEY at the New Ohio has been canceled. Performances for Monday, October 29 and Tuesday, October 30 are still scheduled to go on as planned.
