Chicago Dance Crash (CDC) and Artistic Director Jessica Deahr are proud to regain their sense of humor with the world premiere of And Now for the Dancing Pants!, fit for all ages, playing at the Ruth Page Center for the Arts, 1016 N. Dearborn Ave., Dec. 2-10. Opening Night is Friday, December 2nd at 8pm. Dancing Pants! is conceived by Deahr with choreography by Belle Jensen, Adam McGaw, Richard Ashworth, Stephanie Paul, and CDC Senior Company Member Kaitlin Webster. The show also features an original recording of Silverstein's works narrated by local rapper Al Tamper and a live introduction by local emcee Mr. Mattrick Swayze. Charlotte Ballet announces Jean-Pierre Bonnefoux's twenty-first and final season of programming as president and artistic director. Bonnefoux, who has led Charlotte Ballet since 1996, will retire at the end of the season.

Produced in association with Temple University, and now in its second year, Main Street Festivals, is a national initiative that presents annual readings of new musicals in cities across the United States over the course of a year. Gotham City is the largest production Chicago Dance Crash has undertaken in its 10-year history.
