ROCKY, beginning previews February 11 and officially opening on March 13, announces a day-of-performance lottery for Golden Circle seats in the first two rows of Broadway's historic Winter Garden Theatre (1634 Broadway, New York, NY). Golden Circle ticketholders will be escorted onto the stage to watch the climatic fight during the final 20 minutes of the performance. Entry to the lottery will begin two hours prior to each performance and the winners will be announced 90 minutes prior to curtain. The box office at the historic Winter Garden theatre (1634 Broadway) opens Friday, December 20th at 10am for the upcoming musical, ROCKY. In honor of 1976, the year in which the Oscar-winning film was released, ROCKYwill offer a $76 ticket to a select number of preview performances. According to the Herald Sun, GHOST, which was to make its Australian premiere at Her Majesty's Theatre in August 2013, has been postponed due to poor advance sales. Producer Louise Withers told HS: 'It's always disappointing when there is a postponement like this but it's a very complicated business. Initially we thought we would be able to use the UK set but it will take too long to transport it in Australia where the market has to be reduced, based on the shorter seasons the show has had in the UK and the US.'

Ghost The Musical announced today that a limited number of $25 tickets in the first and second rows of the Orchestra will be available through a lottery drawing for each performance beginning with the first preview on Thursday, March 15th. The lottery will open two and a half hours prior to each performance. The drawing will take place two hours prior to curtain giving all participants 30 minutes to enter the lottery. There is a limit of one entry per person, and two tickets per winner. Ghost The Musical lottery winners must be present at the time of the drawing and valid identification must be shown to purchase tickets. Only cash will be accepted to purchase lottery tickets. All winning entries will be checked for duplication and disqualified if more than one entry was submitted. Lottery tickets are subject to availability and will not be available on Ghost The Musical's Opening Night, April 23, 2012.
At the Whats On Stage audience awards, Ghost the Musical's Richard Fleeshman just won 'Best Actor in a Musical' for Ghost. Talking to press after winning, Fleeshman talked about changes to the show that have been made for the currently rehearsing Broadway production, noting that 'We've made it more focused. Some of the illusions have gotten even more incredible and the cast is bigger. It's been very exciting.'
