Shakespeare & Company's season opens Memorial Day Weekend with Pulitzer Prize finalist The Waverly Gallery by Kenneth Lonergan, directed by Founding Artistic Director Tina Packer. This powerful story sheds a heartrending and humorous light on the effects of senility on a family. Performances run from May 23rd - July 14th in the Elayne P. Bernstein Theatre.
BLEACH Announces Final Extension Through March 30

The US Premiere of BLEACH by Dan Ireland-Reeves will extend through March 30, 2019. This award-winning underground hit, seen throughout the UK as well as in Paris, Stockholm, London and Dublin, made its US premiere in January in an intimate, immersive production performed for an audience of 10.
David Gow Joins Cast Of Site-specific Hit BLEACH Beginning March 6

David Gow will join the cast of the US Premiere of BLEACH by Dan Ireland-Reeves beginning March 6. This award-winning underground hit, seen throughout the UK as well as in Paris, Stockholm and Dublin, made its US premiere in January in an intimate, immersive production performed for an audience of 10. Gow will join current performers Eamon Yates and Brendan George, sharing the role of Tyler, a young man trying to find his way while paying the rent in NYC. Audiences are invited to join Tyler at Tyler's Basement in Bushwick, Brooklyn for this dark and humorous look at sex, violence, and city living. Directed by Zack Carey, performances run through March 24.
FST Digs Up The Roots Of Hatred In CHERRY DOCS

Florida Studio Theatre (FST) presents the second production of its 2019 Stage III Series: Cherry Docs by David Gow, a fearless exploration of hatred and the powerful role it plays in society. Called "Bracingly Intelligent" by The Boston Globe, Cherry Docs sheds light on the dangers of extremism and depicts how fear can quickly change into hate. Cherry Docs starts playing in FST's Bowne's Lab Theatre February 20.

Luna Stage Launches SHORT & SHOW with Midnights on Screen Followed by Pirira on Stage

Luna Stage's newest program, Short & Show, joins the screening of a short film with a MainStage Luna production. In a distinctive Luna move, the theater company is offering a double bill of two works of art in two different disciplines: the showing of a thrilling new short film, Midnights, directed by NJ-based Alvaro Donado, and Pirira on the MainStage. Midnights was filmed on location in nearby Paterson, and this screening will be its West Orange premiere. Both works of art deal with decent people in dangerous situations who, against the odds, attempt to do the right thing. Luna's Short & Show will be Friday, October 19 (Midnights at 7:15pm, Pirira at 8pm) and Sunday, October 21 (Midnights at 2:15pm, Pirira at 3pm).
Luna Stage to Host an Illuminating Conversation with Grass Roots Activists

Luna Stage will host a lively post-show conversation with Elizabeth Juliver, Co-founder and Political Director of NJ 11th For Change, a grassroots progressive activist group centered in New Jersey's 11th Congressional district, where Democrat Mikie Sherril and Republican Jay Webber are running for the seat vacated by Peter Frelinghuysen. Also participating in the conversation are Analilia Mejia, Director on NJ Working Families, and Mindy Fullilove, Professor of Urban Studies at The New School. The discussion will follow the Saturday, October 13 performance of Pirira. Pirira is a vibrant, political, big-hearted play and will serve as the perfect partner for an animated and informative conversation with three progressive political activists about the nature of activism today and how to get get involved.
