New Rep Announces CHERRY DOCS Talkbacks, 10/21-31

New Repertory Theatre, in residence at the Arsenal Center for the Arts, is thrilled to announce it will be holding post-performance talkbacks after select performances of Cherry Docs with keynote speakers, such as Davalene Cooper, a professor of law at New England Law, Boston; Barbara Wallace Grossman, a Professor of Drama at Tufts University, theater historian, and director; Peter B. Krupp, a prominent Criminal Defense Lawyer and founding partner of Lurie & Krupp, LLP; Jason Owens, a Substance Abuse Counselor and Court Advocate at ROCA in Chelsea; and Elyse Rast, Holocaust Programs Coordinator and Educator, Jewish Community Relations Council, to complement this powerful production.

New Repertory Theatre, in residence at the Arsenal Center for the Arts, is thrilled to present the New England Premiere of Cherry Docs by Canadian playwright David Gow. Cherry Docs opens for the press on Monday, October 18, 2010 at 7:30pm and plays through Sunday, November 7, 2010 at the Arsenal Center for the Arts in the Charles Mosesian Theater.

New Rep Announces Their 2010-2011 Season

The seven plays in New Rep's 2010-2011 Season-Boston Marriage; Cherry Docs; Frankie and Johnny in the Clair de Lune; afterlife: a ghost story; DollHouse; The Last Five Years; and Passing Strange-address the theme of transformation through comedy, love, loss, music, personal and artistic growth, and forgiveness.

New York Innovative Theatre Award Winners Announced

On Monday September 22, 2008, the IT Awards (New York Innovative Theatre Awards), the organization dedicated to celebrating Off-Off-Broadway, and host Lisa Kron, announced the 2008 recipients at the Fourth Annual IT Awards Ceremony at the Fashion Institute of Technology.

2008 IT Awards Nominees Announced

On July 21, 2008, the IT Awards (New York Innovative Theatre Awards), the organization dedicated to celebrating Off-Off-Broadway, announced the 2008 nominees at a standing-room only event at 'Our Lady of Pompeii' located at 25 Carmine Street. The 2008 Nominees were selected from an adjudication pool of over 3,000 artists. Nominees include 127 individual artists, 47 different productions and 40 theatre companies.

Off-Broadway's Arrivals to Offer March 4 Talkback

Following the March 4, 2007 performance of the politically charged new play that is inspired by real life events, ARRIVALS written by Canadian playwright David Gow and directed by Obie Award winning director Dan Wackerman. The Talk Back will take place on March 4th following 3PM performance.
