The Factory Theater continues its 26th season with May the Road Rise Up, February 15 - March 30, 2019, at the Factory Theater, 1623 W. Howard St., Chicago. The play is written by Factory Theater Ensemble Member Shannon O'Neill and directed by Factory Theater Ensemble Member and Jeff Award-winning director Spenser Davis.

Otherworld Theatre will produce the world premiere of The Winter Wolf  a holiday-themed fairy tale written by Joseph Zettelmaier  and directed by artistic associate Lauren N. Fields. The play runs December 6, 2018 - January 6, 2019. Press opening is December 8, 2018 at 3914 N Clark Street, Chicago, IL 60613 in the Alchemists' Lab space within Otherworld Theatre. The Winter Wolf was workshopped in 2017 as part of the Otherworld Theatre Reading Series, a monthly staged reading and talkback series. Fields is a recently named artistic associate at Otherworld and directed last season's world premiere production, Down the Rocky Road and All the Way to Bedlam. Prop Thtr is pleased launch its 2018-19 season with the world premiere of NEVERLAND, a new devised riff on J.M. Barrie's Peter Pan, devised by The Ensemble and directed by the Prop's new Artistic Director Olivia Lilley.

A young woman in despair returns to Rome with little more than her suitcase - and a dark secret. Vulnerable and with a past, she encounters several men who push her to edge. Luigi Pirandello and his 'Naked' heroine open up the debate about gender power dynamics amidst the powerful social and cultural mores with which the characters must contend.

Barrie's Peter Pan, written and directed by the Prop's new Artistic Director Olivia Lilley and devised by the Ensemble. This riff on the Peter Pan Myth chronicles the final days of Peter's reign in Neverland, as seen from three wildly different perspectives: Peter's, Wendy's and Hook's.

Otherworld Theatre will produce the Midwest premiere of All I Want is One More Meanwhile... a superhero comedy written by Kelly Jean Fitzsimmons and directed by ensemble member Nathan Pease. Performances are September 26, 2018 - October 27, 2018 and is the first mainstage show of its first season at its newly acquired theater location, 3914 N Clark Street, Chicago, IL 60613. A Midwest Premiere, All I Want Is One More Meanwhile... was originally produced as part of The Brick's Comic Book Theater Festival in Brooklyn.

Otherworld Theatre Company announced Jacob Bates, Michael Bullaro, Bryce Fields, Lauren N. Fields, Stephanie Mattos, and Nathan Randall Miller will join the company as new artistic associates. The six new artistic associates join existing artistic associates Katy Crow, Emerson Elias, Gaby Fernandez, David Goodman-Edberg, Shaun Hayden, Nick Izzo, and Devonte Washington and ensemble members Mary-Kate Arnold, Bennett Bottero, Grace Gimpel, Tiffany Keane Shaefer, Elliott Sowards, Elizabeth C. MacDougald, Nathan Pease, Sara Robinson, Dylan Schaefer, and Kai Young.

The Trap Door Theatre presents Naked written by Luigi Pirandello, translated by Nina Da Vinci Nichols, directed by Kay Martinovich.

Chimera Ensemble today announced the casting for its US Premiere of DON'T SMOKE IN BED, written by award-winning playwright Aurin Squire, and directed by acclaimed director Chika Ike. Kai A. Ealy, who earlier this year appeared in MARY STUART at Chicago Shakespeare and FRANKLINLAND for Jackalope Theatre company; and ensemble member Nicole Fabbri, seen in Chimera's SISTER CITIES, will play an interracial couple being interviewed about their marriage by an unseen journalist via webcam.

The City of Beverly Hills will be home to THE BEVERLY HILLS INFINITY FILM FESTIVAL (infinityfilmfestival.com). Running November 1-4, 2018, the inaugural event will be Beverly Hills' first landmark festival of filmed entertainment.

Chimera Ensemble is proud to present the US Premiere of DON'T SMOKE IN BED, written by award-winning playwright Aurin Squire, and directed by acclaimed director Chika Ike. The production will go up June 15 - July 8 in The Pentagon Theater at Collaboraction Studios in The Flat Iron Arts Building, 1579 N. Milwaukee Ave, Chicago IL 60622. There will be one preview on Friday, June 15 at 7:30 pm. Opening night, followed by a reception, will be Saturday, June 16 at 7:30 pm. 

Akvavit Theatre is pleased to present the U.S. premiere of the madcap Danish comedy BAD GIRLS: THE STYLISTS by Astrid Saalbach, translated by Michael Evans and directed by Co-Artistic Director Breahan Pautsch, playing March 21 - April 14, 2018 at the new Strawdog Theatre Company, 1802 W.
