Film and stage legend and two-time Tony Award winner Lauren Bacall, passed away last week (first reported by TMZ) at the age of 89. The legendary actress suffered a massive stroke and died at home (New York City's famous Dakota Building) according to a family member. BroadwayWorld remembers the legend below.

Mickey Rooney, who spent nearly his entire life in the show business, died on Sunday at 93, after being in ill health for quite some time. Sharing the weekend bill - Thursdays & Fridays through August, with mama Judy Garland on Saturdays and Sundays, Liza has deliciously choice things to say about ex-hubbie Peter Allen, composers Kander & Ebb, and of course, Judy. But mostly, in this show, the emphasis is on singing.

Tony-award winning star Donna McKechnie will join host Ken Kleiber for his 'Kentertainment Report', today, Wednesday October 13 at 12:15pm on Sirius 109/ XM 98. Ms. McKechnie will be speaking about her career and upcoming events, including 'Sondheim Unplugged' and 'My Musical Comedy Life', (both at the Laurie Beecham Theatre with the latter also at the Palais Royale in Indiana), and 'From Broadway With Love', a evening benefitting 'Animal Protection of New Mexico' which also features Kaye Ballard and Liliane Montevecchi.

Legendary actress Patricia Neil passed away yesterday, August 8, at her home in Martha's Vineyard at the age of 84. Neal had been fighting lung cancer for several years.

Ken Kleiber of 'That's Kentertainment!' will be welcoming Patricia Resnick (bookwriter of '9 to 5 The Musical') as a guest on 'The Kentertainment Report' segment of the 'Frank DeCaro Show' Thursday April 23rd at Noon on Sirius/XM Satellite Radio, Channel 109. Resnick, also the co-screenwriter of the film '9 to 5', will discuss the upcoming Broadway opening of '9 to 5' The Musical plus other projects inlcuding a Nick, Jr. series she recently wrote and Executive-Produced, plus a new memoir she is currently penning. And, as a happy coincidence, Ms. Resnick wrote the Dolly Parton/James Woods vehicle 'Straight Talk', a film which happens to contain the first on-screen appearance of Ken Kleiber!
