The Toronto production of 'The Heart of Robin Hood' opened to great fanfare yesterday evening at The Royal Alexandra Theatre in Toronto. The audience leapt to its feet at curtain call to cheer on the cast - and it was well deserved. 'The Heart of Robin Hood' is a great, feel-good night out at the theatre - with a fun twist on the story you probably already know and love.

BBC One, The Ink Factory and AMC today announced a co-production partnership for the television adaptation of John le Carré's novel “The Night Manager.” Multiple Emmy® nominee Hugh Laurie (“House”) and Tom Hiddleston (The Avengers, War Horse, Midnight in Paris) will star in the mini-series, which is set to begin filming in spring 2015. Susanne Bier, who won an Academy Award® for In a Better World, will direct.

The Hollywood Reporter writes that AMC has picked up John le Carre's THE NIGHT MANAGER, starring Tom Hiddleston and Hugh Laurie. The project will likely air as a six- or eight-part miniseries in the U.S.; the spy drama is being presented via BBC in the U.K.

The Curing Room, David Ian Lee's powerful and provocative play, which caused a huge stir at the 2014 Edinburgh Fringe Festival with brave and critically acclaimed performances from seven actors stripped bare on stage, will transfer to London this autumn with a three week run at the Pleasance Islington from tonight 21 October - 9 November, with a press night on 22 October.
