Due to popular demand, the Huntington Theatre Company announces the addition of one week of performances to its run of the world premiere production of A Confederacy of Dunces. The show will now play through December 20, 2015 at the Boston University Theatre. Previews begin Wednesday, November 11; Opening Night is Wednesday, November 18. A new block of tickets are now on sale.

Christian Camargo, who has played Coriolanus and Hamlet for Theatre for a New Audience, will take on another Shakespearean title role as Pericles in a new production directed by Trevor Nunn with music written by Irish composer Shaun Davey, the Theatre's Founding Artistic Director Jeffrey Horowitz announced.

Joe Dowling, the Guthrie Theater's recently retired artistic director, was honored at the 2015 Ivey Lifetime Achievement Award, the celebration of Twin Cities theater, on September 21 at the Historic State Theatre in downtown Minneapolis. Critically-acclaimed actor Mikell Sapp received the Emerging Artist Award.

Erma Bombeck, the award-winning humorist and syndicated columnist known for her wry and humorous take on family life, is the subject of the newest project from twin-sister journalists and playwrights Allison Engel and Margaret Engel -- the world-premiere drama ERMA BOMBECK: AT WIT'S END debuting at Arena Stage at the Mead Center for American Theater. The Engels reunite with director David Esbjornson (Arena Stage's Guess Who's Coming to Dinner) following their collaboration on the smash hit Red Hot Patriot: The Kick-Ass Wit of Molly Ivins, which starred Kathleen Turner in its celebrated 2012 run at Arena Stage. Following its stage debut with Huntington Theatre Company this fall, the world premiere adaptation of Kennedy Toole's novel A CONFEDERACY OF DUNCES, starring Nick Offerman of NBC's 'Parks and Recreation', is setting its sights on a spring Broadway bow.

Single tickets to the Huntington Theatre Company's 2015-2016 Season will go on sale to the general public at midnight on Tuesday, August 4. Single tickets to A Little Night Music and A Confederacy of Dunces are on sale now. The upcoming season features four world premieres, Stephen Sondheim's most popular musical, a Pulitzer Prize winner, and August Wilson's powerful memoir, with performances by award-winning Boston favorites and international theatre artists.
