Fate intervened during the Monday morning rehearsal when the actor originally cast as Anatoly left the production paving the way for Larry to audition for the lead role on Tuesday morning. Director Des McAnuff (Tony award winner for Big River, Tommy and Jersey Boys) hired Larry and he became Anatoly on Wednesday morning.

Museum of the Moving Image's ongoing series See It Big! presents classic and contemporary films on the big screen in the beautiful Sumner M. Redstone Theater. In November and December, the Museum will showcase 22 films photographed by some of the world's greatest cinematographers, including Gordon Willis, Vittorio Storaro, Vilmos Zsigmond, Nestor Almendros, Raoul Coutard, James Wong Howe, and more. The series, See It Big!: Great Cinematographers, runs from November 8 through December 29, 2013.

Unos pocos afortunados hemos podido ver un adelanto de la nueva etapa de Hoy No Me puedo Levantar que el publico podra disfrutar a partir del proximo 12 de septiembre en el Teatro Coliseum de Madrid. 27 cambios de escenografia, 250 metros cuadrados de escenario… una puesta en escena totalmente renovada, 'hemos respetado la fuerza y la pegada que tenia la produccion original: la historia, los personajes, la musica… pero la puesta en escena es totalmente diferente, los cambios escenograficos parecen casi un mecano porque se van encajando diferentes piezas y es una apuesta audiovisual de primera categoria, una orgia visual' nos cuenta David Ottone, director artistico del espectaculo. Desde el estreno de su primera temporada en 2005, Hoy no me puedo levantar ha sido visto por mas de 2.500.000 de espectadores. 'La esencia es igual pero hay cambios, porque toda la experiencia es nueva. Vas a seguir llorando, vas a seguir riendote igual, pero todo esta mas medido y tiene mas calidad' asegura el protagonista del espectaculo, Daniel Diges. Junto a Daniel, caras ya conocidas en este musical como la de Adrian Lastra, que se metera una vez mas en la piel de Colate: 'Lo unico que deseo es disfrutar y se que lo vamos a hacer. Yo he hecho mas de 1000 funciones como Colate y nunca habia vivido lo que estoy viviendo en las funciones previas; eso si, siempre con respeto al montaje anterior, porque no se nos olvide que si aquel no hubiera funcionado, hoy no estariamos aqui haciendolo de nuevo' Tambien podremos ver de nuevo a David Carrillo, que repite experiencia encarnando a Guillermo: 'Yo me lo tomo como algo nuevo y lo vivo cada noche como si a Guillermo le ocurriera todo por primera vez, aunque Secun de la Rosa le ha dado un giro a mi personaje, con lo cual siento que estoy haciendo algo totalmente nuevo' Al elenco se unen algunos rostros nuevos, uno de ellos es el de Canco Rodriguez, que en esta nueva etapa del musical interpretara el personaje de Panchi: 'Es mi primera vez en un musical, empece nervioso porque no sabia como moverme en este medio, pero bueno, como he hecho teatro muchos años, me he tenido que meter caña con las canciones, tengo unos minutitos de gloria donde vais a poder disfrutar, o no, de mi voz'. Y, con el, Andrea Guasch, como Maria, Claudia Traisac, como Ana, Ana Polvorosa, como Patricia, Alejandro de la Vega, como Anselmo y Beatriz Ros, como Malena. Rooftop Films has announced its full feature film slate for 2013, featuring more than 45 outdoor screening of new independent films, including two special sneak preview screenings co-presented with the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. On June 8th the two organizations will present a free screening of "Twenty Feet from Stardom," RADiUs-TWC's hit documentary that brings back-up singers to the forefront. Following the screening there will be a live performance by Darlene Love, one of the main subjects of the film. On July 20th, Rooftop and the Academy will partner again to present Cinedigm's "Short Term 12", the feature film debut of Destin Cretton. Cretton was a 2010 Academy Nicholl Screenwriting Fellowship winner, and "Short Term 12" went on to win the 2013 SXSW Grand Jury Award in March.
