In GODFREY JOHNSON IN CABARET, the popular eponymous South African cabaret artist will be performing songs by some of the greatest songwriters of the twentieth century, including Jacques Brel, Noel Coward, David Bowie, Supertramp, Leonard Cohen, Tori Amos, The Decemberists and Billy Joel in an evening of intimate and marvellous cabaret.

A program that highlights the hope and quest for freedom in every aspects of the artist's life and only highlighted by the current societal, national, international and historical debate around immigration. Following the NJPAC premiere, the new work will premiere at Philadelphia's NextDance Festival from Fri-Sun, April 20, 21, 22, 2018 at the Prince Theatre.
