Kenneth Branagh has returned to Stratford-upon-Avon to tread the boards of the Royal Shakespeare Theatre, where we last saw him 33 years ago as the Prince of Denmark directed by Adrian Noble. This time around, Branagh takes on Shakespeare’s swan song under Richard Eyre. He gets to tick Prospero off his Shakespearean to-do list, and we get to watch another project where the actor-director-writer-producer sticks out like a sore thumb. Eyre struggles to keep Branagh under control.
Full casting has been announced for the RSC's forthcoming production of William Shakespeare's The Tempest, directed by Richard Eyre marking his first time directing in Stratford-upon-Avon.
In Theatr Clwyd's 40th anniversary year, Artistic Director Tamara Harvey, today announces full casting for her Theatr Clwyd directorial debut production of William Shakespeare's Much Ado About Nothing. Harvey directs Lisa Palfrey in the role of Beatrice and John Ramm as Benedict. They are joined by David Bark-Jones, Jonathan Harden, Sian Howard, Nakay Kpaka, Steven Meo, Catherin Morris, Lowri Palfrey, Kerry Peers, and Sion Pritchard.
Chris Larkin joins David Bark-Jones, Maureen Beattie, Simon Bubb, Danielle Flett, Geoffrey Freshwater, Neil Pearson, Thomasin Rand and Sasha Waddell in the UK tour of Michael Frayn's multi- award-winning backstage comedy Noises Off, directed by Lindsay Posner. Following its acclaimed run at The Old Vic and then at the Novello Theatre in the West End, Noises Off will tour theatres across the UK and Ireland from tonight, 27 March 2013. New dates have also been confirmed, which include Birmingham New Alexandra Theatre, Cardiff's Wales Millennium Centre, Glasgow King's Theatre and the Wycombe Swan.

Originally staged at the Royal Court in London, this will be the regional premiere of the play, continuing Sheffield Theatres' tradition of staging new writing in the Studio Theatre.
