Cougar Town, the acclaimed sitcom starring Golden Globe(R) nominee Courteney Cox, is moving to TBS. The top-rated network has ordered a fourth season of Cougar Town, and has announced a start date of Tuesday, January 8, 2013. Vineyard Theatre will open its 30th Anniversary season with the world premiere production of Douglas McGrath's play CHECKERS. Preview performances begin on October 12th, and opening night is set for October 28th. The production will be directed by Terry Kinney, it has been announced by The Vineyard's Artistic Director Douglas Aibel and Co-Artistic Director Sarah Stern.
Pook's Hill will present SOMETHING WILD…, an evening of three rarely performed short plays by Tennessee Williams: Hello From Bertha, 27 Wagons Full of Cotton, and This Property is Condemned. Directed by Ken Schatz and starring Andrus Nichols (Off-Broadway's Saint Joan), performances begin September 14th at The Dorothy Strelsin Theatre at The Abingdon Theater Arts Complex. Opening night is sceduled for Friday, September 21st.
