This is the compelling claim at the heart of a new feature-length documentary, John Paul II in Ireland: A Plea for Peace, that premieres this summer on public television across the United States.
Drama, politics, mystery, danger, intrigue and love all combine together in The Samaritan, a riveting true story and feature-length film. Directed by Kevin McAfee, The Samaritan documents the reunification of an immigrant family in the midst of the Romanian Revolution and The Cold War. The screening of The Samaritan takes place at the Garden State Film Festival (GSFF) in Resorts Casino Hotel's Ocean Ballroom in Atlantic City on Saturday, April 1st at 2:30 p.m.
