Miles College Presents An Evening With Bill Cosby Two Comedy Shows, One Night Only Hosted by Robin Givens on Friday, February 17, 2012 at The Historic Alabama Theatre located 1817 3rd Avenue North Birmingham, Alabama 35203, with the first comedy show starting at 6:00pm and the second comedy show starting at 8:30pm.

All the excitement of the Broadway stage will be broadcast into viewers' homes when Broadway Week returns to LATE NIGHT WITH JIMMY FALLON (12:35 a.m. ET on NBC) February 20-24 featuring a new musical number each night.

The American Repertory Theater announced today the theme and honorees of the A.R.T.'s second annual Valentine's Gala - A.R.T. EVER AFTER, to be held at the Plaza Castle, 130 Columbus Avenue, Boston.

The Gershwins' Porgy and Bess is now on Broadway with a cast led by four-time Tony Award winner Audra McDonald (Ragtime, "Private Practice") as Bess, Drama Desk nominee Norm Lewis (Les Miserables, Sondheim on Sondheim) as Porgy and two-time Tony nominee David Alan Grier (Race, "In Living Color") as Sporting Life. The New York Times has just revealed that the production will extend its run through September 30, 2012, due to both critical and box office success. The production was originally scheduled to close on July 8, 2012. The news was released by producers, who have emailed groups sales reps informing them of the extension.

Tony Nominee and Drama Desk Award winner Joshua Henry (The Scottsboro Boys, American Idiot), who is currently starring as Jake in the production of The Gershwins' PORGY AND BESS, will give a solo concert performance at The Triad Theater (158 west 72nd Street) at 9:30pm on February 20, 2012.

David Mamet is a Pulitzer-Prize winning playwright, known for his own distinct style of dialogue aptly referred to as "Mamet speak". Mamet also directed the Broadway production of Race, which premiered December 2009 starring James Spader, David Alan Grier, Kerry Washington, and Richard Thomas. Gulfshore Playhouse first hit the Naples scene with a production of David Mamet's Oleanna in 2006.

A long-standing opening night tradition on the Great White Way, the fabled Gypsy Robe is bestowed upon a veteran Broadway chorus member for each opening production. In what has now become a theatrical ritual, originating on Broadway 60 years ago, the latest receipient was THE GERSHWINS' PORGY AND BESS cast member J.D.
