HAMILTON'S AMERICA, the documentary film that brings history to vivid life through the lens of Lin-Manuel Miranda's pop culture Broadway phenomenon Hamilton - winner of 11 Tony Awards and the Pulitzer Prize - explodes onto THIRTEEN's Great Performances, Friday, October 21 at 9 p.m. on PBS

The project hails from 'Late Night' writer Jeremy Bronson, recent HAMILTON star and Tony award winner Daveed Diggs and Jamie Tarses, Scott Stuber & Dylan Clark's Bluegrass FanFare.

The Sorting Room-an exciting new intimate space for live performance-is launching in December at the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts through January 14, 2017. Transforming the Lovelace Studio Theater into a 150-seat custom-built space, The Sorting Room will offer Los Angeles audiences the opportunity to see some of the best and upcoming talent in cabaret, comedy, live contemporary music, dance performance and more, delivering a unique, personal experience.

The PBS documentary HAMILTON'S AMERICA will premiere on Friday, Oct. 21, at 9 p.m. ET/PT, but the Hollywood Reporter has today shared details about what to expect in the highly anticipated program.

Recently, I had the amazing opportunity to interview Rafael Casal, co-creator of #BARS workshop currently in association the Public Theater. He is a rapper, poet, actor, playwright, teacher, and musician. His highly socially-conscious work combines elements of hip-hop music and theater in a unique way. It was only fitting to have the interview in the Public Theater.

Daveed Diggs stopped by last night's JIMMY KIMMEL LIVE to talk about leaving the hit Broadway show HAMILTON and recall some of the notable people he met while doing the show.

BroadwayWorld has just learned that Seth Stewart has officially taken over the role of 'Lafayette/Jefferson' in Hamilton on Broadway. Stewart was one of three understudies who alternated the role since Tony winner Daveed Diggs' departure in July. He assumes the role full-time through the end of the year.

The fifth annual class of the National Student Poets Program (NSPP) the nation's highest honor for youth poets has been announced by the President's Committee on the Arts and the Humanities (PCAH) in partnership with the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) and the nonprofit Alliance for Young Artists & Writers. The students were appointed by First Lady Michelle Obama at a ceremony earlier today in the State Dining Room at the White House. As part of an appointment ceremony, each of the students did a reading of an original poem.
