Jim Caruso & Billy Stritch to Stage THE SINATRA CENTURY in Brampton

Performers Jim Caruso and Billy Stritch will be premiering their brand new show, "The Sinatra Century," on the Main Stage at Rose Theatre in Brampton, Ontario on Thursday, October 15 at 8pm. Caruso and Stritch, who have performed extensively on their own, gained national exposure together as the host and musical director of the wildly popular variety show, "Cast Party," which celebrates talent every Monday at Birdland in NYC, tours nationally, and was part of last season's Lincoln Center American Songbook series.  They are also in residency at Bemelmans at The Carlyle Hotel in Manhattan, where the duo is constantly in the news when showbiz heavy-hitters like Liza Minnelli, Bono and Michael Feinstein join them in impromptu performances.  The duo is also touring the world with Liza Minnelli's new concert, 'Great Day.'

Monterey Jazz Festival kicks off the weekend's activities this Thursday with another edition of the 'Concert for Kids' at the Monterey County Fairgrounds, with Monterey Jazz Festival's Next Generation Jazz Orchestra performing a free 45-minute set for students enrolled in Monterey County public schools. The concert will start at 11am today, September 17 at the Garden Stage Presented by HepcHope.com at the Monterey Fairgrounds.

Today, September 11 beginning at 11 a.m., tickets to more than 80 different shows including Broadway, dance, comedy, concerts and family programming will all be on sale as part of Playhouse Square's 2015-2016 'Season On Sale' event. The annual on-sale includes single tickets to KeyBank Broadway Series shows including: If/Then, Beautiful: The Carole King Musical and Matilda The Musical; non-series Broadway shows, including Elf The Musical, Annie and The Wizard of Oz; great family shows such as Air Play, Good Night Moon and The Runaway Bunny and The Magic of Bill Blagg LIVE!; and legendary performers like Johnny Mathis and returning favorites Paula Poundstone, Jim Brickman and Dave Koz.

Jim Caruso & Billy Stritch return to Bemelmans Bar at The Carlyle Hotel with an evening of swinging standards every Sunday in September, November and December, from 9pm - 12 midnight.  The duo has recently added dozens of songs made famous by Frank Sinatra to their repertoire, thanks to their current national tour of The Sinatra Century.  In this upcoming Carlyle run, Caruso and Stritch will be joined by bassist Steve Doyle.
