Road Less Traveled Productions (RLTP) will opens its 2016-2017 season with Pulitzer Prize-winning drama (2000) Dinner with Friends, by this season's American Theatre Master Donald Margulies. Dinner with Friends will open Friday September 9th at the Road Less Traveled Theater. The comedy will star Kelly Meg Brennan, Dave Hayes, Lisa Vitrano, and Phil Farugia under the direction of Katie Mallinson. Production team includes Lucas Lloyd (stage management), Dyan Burlingame (set), John Rickus (light), Katie Menke (sound), Maura Simmonds Price (props), and Karen Albarella (costume). Created by Johnson as a way to give home to the melodies that kept awaking him every day, Colorway released their sophomore record, 'The Black Sky Sequined' on May 5 on CD, digital and 180 gram vinyl.
Since releasing their self-titled debut in 2013, Northampton, MA based Colorway (lead vocalist/guitarist/songwriter F. Alex Johnson; bassist Dave Hayes; and drummer J.J. O'Connell) have evolved into a rousing guitar rock outfit who have been celebrated for their energetic shows and savvy combination of hook-filled pop and rough & tumble rock.
Road Less Traveled Productions will wrap up its 2013-14 season with David Mamet's RACE. This explosive legal drama features a veteran cast of local talent playing characters who tussle over the difficult question of racial bias in crime. Due to licensing & rights issues, RLTP is unable to offer its typical Talkbacks for Mighty Taco Talkback Thursday and Friday Night Coffee Talk programs during its WNY Premiere of David Mamet's Race.
